NMCTR took part in the beloved community event, the Santa Fe Pet Parade, which has taken place on the Plaza for over 90 years. Children, pets, and adult come costumed and parade through the streets of downtown Santa Fe. Hundreds come out as bystanders, enjoying the sight of this joyful event.

NMCTR marched this year with a dedicated group of volunteers and riders and their parents (and grandparents!)…and our mini horse, Sherman.  Sherman was bedazzled with colorful ribbons and sported a unicorn horn and was THE hit of the parade.  Everyone wanted to pat him, get their picture taken with him, and ask exactly what he was!

We are appreciative of our NMCTR family who came out to participate. Being in the parade allowed NMCTR to showcase our riders, who we are, and how we serve our community. We’re already looking forward to next year!
